Pietrodangelo Production Group develops and designs interactive  e-learning courses for digital, distance learning via the Web and digital media. The company also produces  videotape education and training programs and educational broadcast documentaries.

A growing area of emphasis for the firm is military education --  developing interactive, e-learning courses incorporating extensive use of  audio, video, 3-D animation and other multimedia elements that effectively engage and educate students.

Established in 1984 and headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida, the firm's clients include an extensive list of public and private interests - national and multinational corporations and governmental entities including the US Naval War College, the US Navy Professional Reading Program,  General Dynamics Land Systems, the U.S. Department of Interior, the Agency for International Development, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Humana Corporation, The Florida Governorís Office, Better Homes and Gardens, Merillat Industries, the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the Florida League of Health Systems, The Florida Bar Association, the National Association of Social Workers, the Tallahassee - Leon County Community Recycling Program, the Florida Association for Retarded Citizens and nearly every Florida state agency.

Established in Tallahassee Florida in 1984, the company offers a full range of services for e-course and instructional media production. These include:

  • Course design and authoring (SCORM compliant). Courses incorporate engaging and attractive screen designs, intuitive navigation, screen accessible readings and resource materials and more.

  • Media intensive - extensive use of originally produced and provided digital multimedia,  including high quality digital video and audio, professional  narration, 3-D modeling and 3-D animation, Flash animation and more

  • Test and assessment development ranging from simple html self assessments to educational games to  sophisticated multi-format tests, such as CD  and web delivered tests which automatically grade student's responses and transmit encrypted results by e-mail to the instructor or to a learning management system.    

Pietrodangelo Production Group has received widespread professional recognition for its work in e-learning course design, video, digital video and audio, film, graphic design, computer animation and photography, garnering various national, regional and local awards in such competitions as the New York Festivals, the Sarasota Film Festival, Charleston Film Festival, the National Telly Awards, the Healthcare Advertising Awards, the Best in the East Awards, the Silver Microphone Awards, the Golden Image Awards, Angel Public Service Awards, the ADDY Awards and others.

Community Service

Pietrodangelo Production Group, Inc. makes its services readily available on a pro bono basis to non-profit community human services organizations such as the Leon Association for Retarded Citizens, the Special Olympics, the Tallahassee Ballet, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Turn About, FSU Opera, Domestic Abuse Education, Tallahassee Urban League, the Leon County Humane Society, the Area Agency on Aging, Drug Abuse Prevention Program, the FSU Seminole Torchbearers and more.

The firm has been recognized for this work as a Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce's Small Business of the Year. Further, the firm's president has twice received the Florida Association for Retarded Citizens, President's Award, he was 1998 arts nominee for Tallahassee Volunteer of the Year,  finalist for Tallahassee Volunteer of the Year in 2000 and the recipient of the 1999 Outstanding Achievement Award from the Florida Volunteer Corp for his volunteer work as a communication consultant in Belize, Haiti, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Dominica, Grenada and other Caribbean countries.

As a public service, the firm recently completed the documentary, Homeless In An All-America City which was a finalist in the 2001 New York Festivals.
